2024年海外合作大学留学系列讲座——英国诺森比亚大学、英国创意艺术大学

On October 26th to 27th, Northumbria University and the University for Creative Arts in the UK held admission seminars for Year 2024 in Telfort. Third year students and students who want to learn more about Telfort's cooperative universities attended the seminars.


Northumbria University is a comprehensive university located in Newcastle, England, UK. It offers over 500 undergraduate and graduate programs in various majors, with four university departments: Department of Arts, Design and Social Science; Department of Engineering and Environment; Department of Health and Life Science; Department of Business Law (Law School, Newcastle Business School). Newcastle Business School is currently the only business school in the UK to obtain AACSB Business, AACSB Accounting, and EQUIS certification. The AACSB certification indicates that the major is at an excellent level, and the school that has obtained dual certification is known as one of the top 5% business schools in the world.

On October 26th, Mr. Frank Wang, Collaborating Manager of China Office of Northumbria University held a seminar for third year and pre-master's students majoring in business management at Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Institute of Technology, which included university introduction and student life in the UK, and warmly answered students' questions.




The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) originated in 1866 and has a history of over 150 years. It is one of the most famous public art universities in the UK. This school is the top ranked creative and arts university in the UK (Complete University Guide). In 2019, the Guardian University Guide ranked it 13th in the UK and ranked first in the arts university category. It has good reputation for its majors in film, television, fashion, architecture, animation, textiles, photography, and performance and has trained numerous renowned professionals in various fields.

On October 27th, the University for Creative Arts, UK held an admission seminar at the Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Institute of Technology in Telfort, which was attended by second and third year students majoring in Digital Arts. Speaker Mr. Neil Bottom is Academic Director of Department of International Admission at UCA, Director of the Fashion Textile Department, and an independent artist. He presented the artistic achievements, paintings, and sculptures of UCA in recent years with PPTs. The students were watching intently and had a heated discussion with Teacher Neil. Ms. Smile Lu, Deputy Director of UCA in China and Ms. Sara Zhao, channel manager in China also attended the seminar.
