Telfort Student Welcome Ceremony 2023

The Student Welcome Ceremony of Telfort Business Institute Year 2023 was held in Auditorium 116, Library Building on September 19th. The ceremony was presided over by Pi Bao An, Vice-President of Telfort. Chen Jia Xu, Vice-Director of International Education Center of SIT (division level) and President of Telfort, Yang Bai, Chairman of Telfort International Education Group, and Mary, Director of Academic Group of Telfort attended the ceremony.

Mr. Chen Jia Xu warmly welcomed the 2023 freshmen and delivered a short speech. He encourages students to set life goals, strive to learn English well and improve the cross-cultural communication skills. He said that students are fortunate to have grown up in a prosperous era of multicultural integration. They should study diligently and seize the opportunities, so that they can have excellent language skills and solid professional abilities to win a bright future.

Mr. Yang Bai reviewed the development and changes of Telfort since its establishment 25 years ago, encouraging students to keep up with the times, cherish time, make good use of the high-quality resources provided by the school, continuously enrich themselves, improve professional skills, and become cross-cultural applied talents in a new era that is in line with international standards.

        Mr. Pi Bao An and Ms. Mary also delivered brief speeches, welcoming the new students and putting forward the requirements and expectations for the new semester. Student representatives Yuan Bei Chen and Zhang Hai Ji respectively spoke at the ceremony.

        After the ceremony, police officer Zhang from Cultural Security Branch of Shanghai Public Security Bureau conducted a security education to all students.
